Dundee Paramedic Brings Heart Attack Victim Back to Life
A paramedic who had stopped in his rapid response car to attend to some paperwork, was a life-saving hero when he looked up to see an accident happening close by.
On attending the scene, the driver's wife told him "I think my husband's dead" whereupon he discovered that the driver had indeed stopped breathing. Fortunately, the paramedic had access to oxygen and a defibrillator which he used to get the man breathing again and stable enough for him to be taken to hospital.
The man underwent a triple bypass operation and is now recuperating at home. He has publicly thanked the paramedic saver of his life but the life saver has just put it down to doing his job and says that anyone in his profession would have done the same.
