Difficulty in Breathing |

Difficulty in speaking |
PRECAUTIONS
 |
Do not lay casualty down |
 |
Do not use a preventer inhaler |
 |
If casualty falls unconscious be prepared
to commence CPR |
ACTION
 |
Make casualty comfortable & encourage them
to breathe slowly |
 |
Allow casualty to use their reliever inhaler (usually
blue) |
 |
If attack severe or casualties first. Tell
them to inform GP. |

| NOTE: If the inhaler has
no effect after 5 to 10 minutes, Dial 999 and request attendance of an
ambulance |
